The dehydrator is terrific. It dries very evenly without too much rotating trays, it's relatively quiet and solidly built. I've been using it the past few weeks much more than I expected to. Natures Wonderland communicated excellently and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

We have been using our new dehydrator for a month now and it's great! We bought the little entry level one because we weren't sure how much we'd use/need it. Helpful Nature's Wonderland staff suggested we buy an inexpensive self-timer device to put on the electrical powerpoint given that the timing feature doesn't come with the 4 tray. We have found this good - only dried fruit so far, but it's very good! We haven't found the dehydrator too hot or noisy, as some have written.

I can report after dehydrating fruit, vegetables and chicken it works well. The purchase process was great and easy. Thanks for a great unit and great customer service :-) ……. PS: Food shortages coming, start prepping now.

I purchased this after using a much cheaper dehydrator for a short time ( it stopped working shortly after purchase). I was hesitant to spend so much on the Excalibur but so glad I did. The cheaper dehydrator is just not comparable to the quality of the Excalibur... It is not quiet but I run it in a spare room & it just becomes a hum. It's great to have the timer to "set and forget". I look forward to making lots of new & healthy food options with it.

The Akela drying sheets are a wonderful help when doing fruit leathers, I had previously tried lining the trays with baking paper which was quite a trial. The drying sheets give you the ability to fill to the lip and even out the contents. Removing the dried product is a breeze, and the sheets are so easy to clean, I consider this to be an excellent investment.

I ordered a unit one day (over the phone) and it was shipping the next! Now that's service!!! I'm really happy with my new dehydrator. It's so easy to use I can see I'm going to be using this a lot. I've already loaded it up with apples, pears, strawberries, Kiwi, and pineapple - all at once on separate trays. Now I have a heap of scrumptious dried fruit to take to work and on my walks.
